“The perfect view of Nafplio”

We stayed here for three nights and would have been happy to stay longer. It was easy to find and we had a great welcome from the staff. The hotel is very well designed so that all rooms have a balcony facing the sea that also affords some privacy and is furnished with table and comfortable chairs - the perfect place to sit at any time of day to gaze at the view which is the jewel in the crown of this hotel.

The room itself is large, clean and beautifully decorated with a huge, comfortable bed, plenty of storage space and quiet but effective A/C. There are tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge which we used to store fresh milk for our tea. The shower is great.

Breakfast is excellent with a good selection of hot and cold food, including eggs, cheese, pastries both sweet and savoury, bread, toast, home-made jams, olives, fruit and yogurt.

It is a little way outside the town which we liked because it meant there was no trouble parking unlike in Nafplio itself and it was quiet at night (Traffic noise can be a problem but use the button-operated shutters to reduce this). A few doors away is a bakery selling divine Bougatsa and we bought our milk there too. The walk into town is flat and easy with a view of the sea all the way. Nafplio is a lovely town with beautiful old buildings, a great Museum, good restaurants, coffee bars and ice cream parlours and plenty of interesting shops. It's within reach of some really interesting historical sites and we can't wait to return. When we do, we will not hesitate to stay at the Harmony Luxury Rooms again.

Consigliato se vi trovate a Nafplio!”

Yes good and in the middle of town

A good pension/guest house. We had the room on the first floor opposite the kitchen. The room a two balcony windows great for light and watching the mainly pedestrian traffic below. The owners were friendly although we only saw them when we booked in and out which was OK by us. Room was clean and quiet [at least in April]. Good shower.
A good base for exploring the area including the many ancient sites, towns and villiages and castles.
The only issue is the stairs to the first and second floor. The stairs are steep and narrow and care should be exercised at all times.

+ “Really cute and cozy place! Also, very clean and pretty quite. The staff was very kind and helpful. I liked the fact that in the kitchen you could pick whatever you wanted (free of charge) and prepare your own breakfast any time you wanted! This is one of the best places to stay in Nafplio!”

+ “Mooi karakteristiek historisch pand. Ik kreeg echt het 'thuis-gevoel'. De eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijk en de kamer is van alles wat je kunt wensen voorzien en heel schoon.”

+ “We stayed in the larger room in the attic, the stairs are steep but it's well worth the climb. Everything about Isabo was perfect - nice and clean room, balcony with a view of the small street, located in the old town. The owners greeted us, communication was seemless. The mini communal kitchen had all the utensils, while the owners ensured there was fruit, bread and other things for breakfast. Overall - highly recommend Isabo for your stay in Nafplio. A nice hotel for a wonderful town experience.”

“good quality and value for money”

We booked room at Pension Isabo online at last minute. Very pleasantly surprised. We stayed in room 1 on the 1st floor which was very convenient as there was fully stocked kitchen right across from our door. There are no common areas or dining room so there are no meals offered. But there is a kitchen for common use that more than makes up for this as it has everything needed to fix your own mini breakfast/snack, coffee, etc. and at any time you wish. There is no reception area or round the clock staff but the owner, Mrs. Koula, has a lingerie shop right around the corner and she and her family are always available if needed. Location was excellent as it is in middle of all sites, places of interest, cafe bars, etc. In old town but on quiet street so no problem sleeping at night. Room was quite big with comfy romantic iron post bed, desk, mini fridge, good size closet, excellent wi-fi reception, good a/c, good size bathroom with shower. Room 1 also has 2 balconies and a window, so if you open all doors and shutters, it is lovely, bright and airy. At 60 euro a night during peak season, definitely good value for money. Pension fairly quiet, not much noise from other guests or rooms even though we had kitchen and another room across from us. Perfect for a romantic getaway. We'll definitely be returning, hopefully soon!

+ “It was very much like a B&B, the woner was very friendly and helpful. The room was cute and had a small kitchenette with coffee, tea, juice, water and breakfast goodies for everyone to enjoy throughout the day.”

+ “Sweet little hptel in the middle of the old town. Very nice owner. We had a perfect stay and would fully recommend this hotel!”

Spent 4 nights in Pension Isabo in Nafplio - highly recommended for a chill out. Ask for the attic room, spacious enough with largest balcony

Very welcoming, friendly and helpful family run guesthouse. Self serve traditional Greek breakfast every morning - took upstairs to our outside balcony with a view of the town and castle. Fresh Greek bread, spreads, cake + greek coffee.

Cosy attic room, very comfortable and clean. Hotel right in the centre of old town, short walk to sights.

Travelled 3 weeks in Greece from Athens to Kalabaka, Delphi and Nafplio by train + bus. Connections good for Athens. Just be wary about bus frequency in and out of Nafplio to other Pelopenese island destinations. - some only run twice a week. Visit the original Argos! Easy 1/2 day trip to see old roman ruins

Perservever with the steep walk up to the castle - well worth the hike for the stunning views. Free castle entrance on bank holidays and Mondays

+ “excellent location. there is a small kitchen on the first floor where you can find breakfast and coffee, no extra charge.”
- nothing, everything was ok

“Lovely room, perfect location, amazing owner, great deal - Stay Here!!”

Pension Isabo is located right in the heart of Old Town Nafplion - you are a few minutes away from literally everything. Rooms are a great size and ours (the attic room) had a small balcony, which I was able to read on every morning. Everything is very clean and yet there is still a rustic feel from details like the exposed wood cieling beams. There is a small kitchen that is kept fully stocked for your use 24 hours a day - cheese, bread, poundcake, teas, coffees, juices, marmalades, mineral water, etc. You can also keep things in the refrigerator if you want. There is also free wi-fi in the rooms and a tv that gets many different channels.

Costas and his wife could not be more welcoming, happy people. They own the store beneath the Pension so are always on hand if questions come up or you need advice on a restaurant or local activities to hit up. Costas is incredibly helpful and just the nicest person around.

Other reviewers have noted it is hard to find. We had zero issues - just follow the instructions listed and you will arrive with no problem. Could not be easier.

This must be the best value in town. Extremely reasonably priced for a great, great room with wonderful service. And it simply couldn't be in a more prime location! Highly recommend staying here!! Nafplion is fantastic and a must visit on your stay in Greece.

+ “The place it was good in turist area! The view also very nice. The people polite and ready to help us! The room was clean and everything was as we except it!”

+ “Perfect location (right at the center but in a quiet street), nice little kitchen with nice some food with which you can make your own breakfast. Beautiful room - cozy and romantic”

+ “Located right in the heart of Old Town Nafplion, just a few minutes away from literally everything. Room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was not included, but there is a little kitchenette with juice, fruits, bottled water, makings for coffee, tea as well as bread and jam.”

- Rien!

+ “We stayed in the attic room - it was cosy, had its own balcony and we were given a welcome souvenir too. Coffee, tea, biscuits and cakes were available 24 hours, and it just had a very warm and good vibe about it. The only thing to watch out for is that the stairs are narrow, but this is how the houses were built and it added to the overall experience of staying in a classic house rather than a hotel. Loved this place.”

“Stanza molto carina in una citta stupenda”
5 από 5 αστέριαposizione ottima, tranquillo, posteggio per la moto. proprietari gentilissimi, se non sono in struttura sono nel negozio sottostante da loro gestito. molto comoda la posizione per visitare i siti archeologici della zona Micene, Tirinto, Nemea ed Epidauro.

This and an adjacent pension are both in Old Nafplio are tiny but wonderful. In each there are 2 room in the 1st Floor and 2 on the second. There is a common kitchen with cakes and soft drinks. A/C is provided as is free WiFi. The owners also have a larger hotel just outside Nafplio. Nafplio is probably my favourite town in Greece and has a wonderful old town and castle, lots of good restaurants, and lots of nearby beaches. There is a fast (for Greece) direct bus service from Athens and the walk from the Nafplio but station to the Pension takes 5 mins. Highly recommended as are some of the nearby icecream shops. Parking in the nearby port area is fine. Booking in advance is essential.

+ “Very clean Very friendly Tastfull breakfast Very comfortable room”
- No negative points

After we booked Pension Isabo we recieved an email from Kostas, the owner, welcoming us and letting us know if we needed anything that we should ask. He and his son Yiannis were extremely helpful! Our ferry had gotten cancelled for a later date and they called and talked to multiple people to help us get a new one. My wife got food poisoning the night before we were to leave and was barely able to move. When they found out she was sick while I was checking out, the whole family came out to check on her. Kostas walked us to a pharmacy and Yiannis helped me change my bus tickets for that day a 2nd time (The ticket agents are surly and I seriously doubt they would have let me change it if he weren't there). One of the attic rooms wasn't going to be used until 6pm so they let her sleep and rest all day in the bed free of charge after cleaning it and came back to clean it again after we finally left (attic room was nice but much smaller).
Our room (#1!!!), was very large, comfortable, and clean. We had two balconys overlooking the street. There's cake, bread and jams for breakfast along with coffee and tea in the kitchenette along with free waters. There's a fridge in your room and in the kitcheonette. You control the air conditioner which worked very well. The shower head was high and had great pressure.
As some have said, it's not very easy to find from their map (it's on the corner), but all the pensions in town have small, quaint signs so I imagine they may not be much easier to get to. It's a three minute walk from the bus station if you know where it is.
There's only 4 rooms. If you want a nice cozy place, I definitely recommend Pension Isabo!
